Yesterday, Dr. Michał Markiewicz had the pleasure of conducting a training session on selected issues of copyright agreements as part of “Legal Advisor Mondays” organized by the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw (OIRP). “Thank you very much to all participants for attending and for your many questions. I hope to see you soon!” The presentation covered the following topics, among others: the requirement to specify fields of exploitation, problems with concluding contracts (practical aspects), rescuing poorly concluded contracts, the amendment of September 2024 in the context of contracts (including remuneration), the durability of copyright contracts – risks and alternatives (including contracts transferring a share in rights (e.g., temporarily 1% of rights) together with a modification of the rules of joint management.
