On August 23, 2017 Mr. Mioduszewski delivered a lecture for ELSA Łódź during the “IInd Film Law School”. The subject of the lecture were so-called “additional royalties” for co-authors and artistic performers of the audiovisual works (Article 70 section 2(1) and 3 of the Copyright Act), an interesting institution of the Polish copyright law which is the source of numerous legal and economic controversies. The issue was presented on the background of the example of the first Polish court claim for “additional royalties” for actors of a docu-crime TV series, still pending before courts.

On June 22, 2017, Mr. Sroczyński participated in the Gala in honor of the first President of the Polish Antimonopoly Office, Prof. Anna Fornalczyk, during which she received a special annual CARS Prize for 2017, granted for the achievements in research and practice in the field of the protection of competition.

On June 16-18, 2017, Mr. Sroczyński participated in the annual reunion of the Alumnae of Cleary Gottlieb, organized in La Valetta, Malta. The reunion was a special occasion to meet with former Cleary’s lawyers from around the world.

On June 15-16, 2017, Mr. Sroczyński participated in the annual Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer Competition Law Forum in Brussels. The Forum was a unique platform for exchange of opinions about the global developments in competition law, notably in connection with the Brexit and Trump’s presidency.
