On October 27-28, 2020, the VIIth International Consumer Conference “Complaints, mediations and other proceedings in consumer matters” was organised by the Association of Consumer Ombudsmen and the Economic University of Cracow. Mr. Sroczyński was speaking in a panel on consumer proceedings in matters relating to everyday use products.

On October 19, 2020, during the Book Congress organized as a part of this year’s Conrad Festival, Dr. Michał Markiewicz in conversation with Mr. Zygmunt Miłoszewski, discussed the most common mistakes made by authors when concluding copyright contracts. Our law firm, under the leadership of Dr. Markiewicz prepared model contracts for authors (for books, author’s texts, adaptations and author’s meetings), which were made available to all interested parties during the festival week.

In the recent Jagiellonian University Journal of IP Law (No. 149), an article of Zuzanna Ochońska has been published on “Protection of Enterprise Secrets in Proceedings in Commercial and Intellectual property Cases”. Zuzanna discusses, among other things, the practical aspects of the procedure of secrecy of data which a party to the proceedings has been summoned to submit, and which constitute confidential business secrets. The article is also available in the LEX database.
